Seventh Heaven——樂不可支

    ** a state of extreme happiness and bliss, a feeling of perfect joy as if one had ascended to the highest heaven

    ~~ over the moon; on cloud nine; in ecstasy

    !! Jews and Muslims recognized seven concentric heavens, the highest being the abode of God. In Jewish tradition, these levels were graded according to the degree of merit one has acquired or contributions one has made on earth, and according to the successive steps taken by the soul after death. The number seven, sacred in biblical tradition, gave this cosmology its structure. By the 19th century, the term was extended to mean a state of supreme bliss, without religious connotation.

    猶太教和伊斯蘭教都認為有七重天，其中最高層是上帝居所。猶太傳統中，這些層級是根據人在世時累積的功德或貢獻，以及死後靈魂所經歷的階段劃分的。數字“七”在《聖經》傳統中具有神聖意義，構成宇宙觀結構基礎。到了十九世紀，意思被擴展，用來指稱一種極樂狀態，不再帶有宗教色彩。
